The Institute for Data Innovation Africa (IDIA) is a board-led, Ethiopia-based, non-governmental institute advancing scalable data solutions to strengthen systems and enable evidence-based decision-making. Officially registered in 2023 and operational as of July 2025, IDIA was established by globally experienced and Ethiopia-based experts to institutionalize the success and lessons learned from the Data Analytics, Systems, and Use (DASU) project—a Gates Foundation–funded and results-driven initiative.
